Estas flores comestibles fructifican formando una esfera de vilanos (conjunto de pelos plumosos) blancos y sedosos que vuelan con el aire ayudando as\u00ed a que se disemine su semilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De esta planta se utiliza principalmente la ra\u00edz, pero tambi\u00e9n las hojas e incluso la planta entera. Aunque es originaria de Europa y Asia, en la actualidad se puede encontrar por todo el mundo. Crece tanto en praderas como en terrenos bald\u00edos y hasta en las macetas, siendo considerada a menudo como una mala hierba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El diente de le\u00f3n posee un gran n\u00famero de propiedades.
