Es muy utilizado en la cocina tradicional mexicana y de otros pa\u00edses latinoamericanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n conocido como panela, rapadura, chancaca (seg\u00fan el pa\u00eds). No pasa por procesos de refinaci\u00f3n como el az\u00facar blanca. Conserva minerales, melaza y compuestos antioxidantes naturales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque sigue siendo un tipo de az\u00facar (y debe usarse con moderaci\u00f3n), es m\u00e1s nutritivo que el az\u00facar refinado. A\u00f1ade un cono peque\u00f1o de piloncillo y deja disolver. Lic\u00faa 1\/2 taza de avena cruda con tres tazas de agua y mezcla con el jarabe.
